Dear Ken We are still in Jamaica, staying at the Róyal Plantation Hotel untill the 28th February. Our holiday didn't end when we left the Villa. Our stay was wonderful. The whole family had a great time and the setting is beautiful. We would recommend it to all who decide to holiday in the Caribbean.

Seven-bedroom Fortlands Point sits at the site of the original fort leading into Discovery Bay. Its dramatic seaside position affords dramatic views of both the sea and the bay from outside the villa and in. The villa hosts no fewer than 3 private, white-sand beaches and its own cove on its 2-acre grounds, complete with a secluded seaside dining pavilion for a romantic or quiet meal. Set back a few feet from the main beach, the infinity-edge pool looks out over the bay and includes a covered bar seating area for al fresco dining and entertaining in style.

Fortlands Point's exteriors are furnished in traditional Jamaican fashion, using dark teak woods and tasteful tropical colors. Bedrooms include 4 master suites and 2 rooms ideal for children. The villa's downstairs suite has its own verandah and, accessible by ramp, is wheel-chair friendly.

Activities abound at Fortlands Point, providing enough entertainment for guests to do as much - or as little - as they wish during their holiday. A fitness center and indoor squash court are on hand for those who want to keep active; kayaks and snorkeling equipment are also available for some on-the-water leisure right off the beach.
